Obiettivi formativi specifici.
The degree course in Statistical and Economic Sciences aims to supply the theoretical knowledge, operational capacities and practical skills indispensable for identifying, analyzing and handling economic data with view to describing and interpreting the real underlying phenomena at both microeconomic and macroeconomic level. So graduates will be in possession of an appropriate command of general statistical methodologies, highly integrated with specific capacities in statistical-economic, economic-political and business economics disciplines. The degree course is subdivided into a first preparatory phase (essentially the first two years) followed by a differentiation in specific in-depth studies. In particular, the first phase ensures a solid basic preparation, both methodological and applicative, in statistical, mathematical-IT and economic disciplines. Subsequently the courses offer specialization in various fields of a statistical-economic, business economics and financial type. More specifically, the formative objectives and expected learning results may be summarized as follows in accordance with the “Dublin Descriptors".
